To the family, All the good times we had had together over the years. Growing up Tom and Emily were more like an aunt and uncle rather than family friends. Listening to our folks laughing and having a good time over coffee was a weekly occurrence. Both Tom and Emily were a great influence in my life. I loved camping and the outdoor adventures with our families. (Tom even was with me when I caught my first fish. A moment I will never forget.) Another personal favourite story was Donald “shooting a duck” at Toms funeral, this broke the moment and made everyone laugh. I’m sorry my 2 boys never had the chance to get to know them, as they were such great people. My deepest sympathy - Posted by: Darryl Wiechman (Family friend) on: Mar 29, 2019

So sorry to hear that your mother, grandma, great grandma on her passing.I met Emily years ago at the old Westwood Safeway store when your Dad was still alive and they looked after there grandson Donald. I used to give Donald a big kiss on his cheek and he sure didn't like that. Then he was asked about that later and he answered she really really made me mad. LOL. Good memories. A very nice lady and always kind and always acknowledged every one she knew. God Bless you all .Barb. Baxter - Posted by: Barbara Baxter (Friend from Safeway) on: Mar 27, 2019
