SANDRA MARLENE AMMETER (née MOORE) October 13, 1968 - March 25, 2019 It is with great sadness that we share the news of Sandra's passing on March 25, 2019 after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Tim; son Tyler; daughter Megan; mother Polly; sister Suzanne Singh (Vidya); niece and nephews, Serena, Joseph and William Singh. She will be dearly missed by her in-laws, Jean and Raymond; sisters-in-law, Shelley Heinz (Doug) and Maureen (Tony Dyck); along with her nephew and niece, Andrew and Morgan Heinz. Sandra was predeceased by her father Ed in 1997. Sandra was born in Trenton, ON and moved 16 times, as her Dad was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces (Air Force). She completed high school in Portage la Prairie, MB and the family moved soon after to Winnipeg. There she completed the Administrative Secretary course at Red River College which provided her with a solid foundation for her career in various administrative roles. She married Tim on June 21, 1997 and they made their home in Headingley, giving them a great community in which to raise their family. With much gratitude, the family thanks Sandra's medical team, Dr. Patricia Harris, the Home Care Nurses, cousin Diana Arnal (Nuclear Medicine department), and the many other doctors, nurses and staff at the Grace Hospital, Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital and CancerCare. Your excellent care and understanding helped her through this journey. As well, many thanks are extended to the staff of the RM of Headingley, the Taillieu family and staff of Taillieu Construction for their unwavering support and understanding. Also, to the countless family and friends who visited, called, sent cards, messages, or food, your support has been invaluable to Sandra, Tim, Tyler, and Megan, and we thank you. I am so sorry to hear of this and sending hugs and prayers to Sandra's family. I worked with Sandra at Cormer Group and she made everyday so much fun. Thinking of things we would imagine and do brought us to tears of laughter so many times. It was such a pleasure to work with her and see that bright sunny smile everyday.... keep hiding things from the Auditor Sandra. - Posted by: Linda Gammon (Co-worker) on: Apr 04, 2019

Sandra's family and my Auntie Polly, While we were too far apart proximity wise, we had some wonderful shared spirit as our families came together, through Auntie Polly's (Sandra's mother and my auntie). Polly always kindly shared her home as we travelled to/fro Nova Scotia. Sandra we know you will look over your family from above and we are glad you no longer need to suffer from this terrible illness/pain. We loved/love so much of our sharing with you and for your family and now we wish you peace and for Auntie Polly, the same. We send our love to your family/Auntie Polly and ask that you contact us at any time we can "be there" for you (in spirit)/your family. With all our best wishes for continuing on in the after-world....our love goes your way. All best wishes: Cousin Tina, your second cousins Caroline/Matthew and Lewis (while my husband and not by blood, still most strong with you all).XXOO - Posted by: Tina Penney (Cousin) on: Apr 02, 2019
