DYLAN JAMES DAVID
September 14, 1983- March 31, 2019
Dylan's passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of his mother Joanne Kuz (Greg); father Perry David (Shannon); his brothers and sisters, Erica (Brent), Gregory, Jonathan, and Sophie; grandma Ingrid David, and countless friends and family.
Dylan was predeceased by his brother and best friend Dustin Trainor, his grandparents, Fred David, and Marie and Albert Geurts.
Dylan was born on September 14, 1983, in Victoria Beach and raised in St. Andrews, he always maintained a special place in his heart for the beach. Dylan loved visiting his grandparents, whether it be helping out Grandpa and Dad in the fish shed, or playing games with Grandma in the gazebo. In Dylan's later years the beach was where he would go out on the boat and hang out with his brother Dusty. Family was most important to Dylan, the bonds he shared with his siblings and cousins growing up in St. Andrews was unlike anything. Dylan made friends everywhere he went, he was easy-going, charismatic, and funny. The stories of Dylan were hilarious when he was still here and will make us all laugh for eternity.
In Dylan's early 20s, he headed west which was to be the start of an incredibly successful career in the oil and gas industry. He loved spending his free time travelling, snowboarding/sledding in the mountains, going for truck rides with his dog Gus, and hanging out with his friends. Dylan recently spent his 35th birthday in Europe with his mom and sister.
Dylan was your go to guy for fashion, he was always the best dressed guy in the room, which was likely attributed to his mom's legendary homemade outfits as a child. Dylan cherished his visits home with his family and friends. He looked forward to some homemade cooking from his Mom. He loved to spend time with his brothers and sisters and his dad Perry and Shannon. He will always be remembered for the million things he was to all of us that brought light to our lives, but mostly his big personality and iconic, contagious laugh that we will continue to hear forever. Dylan was truly the most hilarious, fun, silly, happy go lucky, generous and kind person. His time was cut too short, he had so many big dreams and big plans. He will be forever missed and remembered. Dylan belonged to everyone, and how lucky we all were.
Funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk. Interment will take place in the Victoria Beach Cemetery.

Nothing can prepare you for this loss and nothing can describe the pain a family feels over the emptiness you'll wake up to every morning. What can help is to know that he will never be forgotten, his memory very much appreciated, and the love you shared everlasting. I am so sorry for your loss.
