MELVIN WATKINS
Melvin passed away on April 2, 2019 at the age of 92.
He is survived by his four sons and their families, Doug (Lise), Ken (Dianne), Rick (Joan) and Larry (Debby), eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife Catherine, his daughter Debby-Jean, his twin brother Ivan, his sister Joyce, and his parents, Warren and Mabel.
Melvin was born in Oak Bluff, MB in 1926 and attended school there. He moved to Winnipeg in 1943 and worked as a sheet metal foreman until he retired at the age of 65.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Fort Garry Legion, 1125 Pembina Hwy. Lunch will be served.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

My heart goes out to Mel's family. He was such a pleasure to know and care for Mel even though it was for a short period . I enjoyed listening to his stories about his career and Ft.
