BALBIR CHAND VIJ
1934 - 2019

It is with deepest sadness we announce the sudden passing of Balbir Chand Vij on April 10, 2019 at River Park Gardens.
He was born and raised in Sangrur, India and lived most of his life in Winnipeg as a long time transportation business owner.
He is survived by his wife Santosh Vij, brothers, sisters, sons: Varinder (Sunita), Ravinder (Renu), Rajeev (Meenu) and Anish (Archana) Vij; grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 14, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home. Prayers will follow at 6:00 p.m. at the Hindu Temple, 834 Ellice Ave.
The family would like to thank staff at River Park Gardens and Misericordia Health Centre for their loving care.
