Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Gerry was a lovely lady...and she will be missed. - Posted by: Audrey Morton (Friend and former neighbour) on: May 02, 2019

  • Gerry was not just a friend, but a part of my family. With neither of us having children in Winnipeg at the time when we first met (over a bridge table) we "adopted" one another and spent much time together, including all special occasions when we were not away visiting "children". When my son returned to Winnipeg he adopted Gerry as a second mother, including her in whatever plans he made to celebrate Mother's Day, and she will be sorely missed by all of us. Whenever someone was ill, or just needed a boost in some way, Gerry was always first on the scene with her homemade chicken soup, or some other offering. She was a kind and caring person, and I will miss her every day - Posted by: Katherine Sullivan (friend) on: Apr 18, 2019

  • So sorry Carla to hear of your mother's passing. Sincere sympathy to you and your brothers. I stopped in to visit with your mom when I visited David (MacDonald) and enjoyed chatting with her over Thompson days. She was a lovely woman and contributed her time and talent to many endeavors. She will certainly be missed, It was delightful to meet her. Joyce Rose - Posted by: Joyce Rose (friend) on: Apr 15, 2019
