On April 10, 2019
He was predeceased by his parents, Emilio and Josephine Romani, and the love of his life, Judi Romani. His legacy is left with his children, David, Canice, Michael and Sandra; grandchildren, Aidan, Darien, Isabella and Tristan; brother Emilio; special friend Karen, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Johannes and the palliative care team.
Dad was born August 29, 1941 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. He loved life, travelling and being involved within the community. He loved being with people and making them laugh. He was heavily involved in various organizations, scouting, GBCOA, water polo, YMCA, church, toastmasters, to name a few. Dad was always willing to lead, coach, and support David and Michael's teams, events, and concerts. He was a determined and hardworking father with a long, distinguished resume. One of his favourite joys was making balloon animals for kids, no matter where he was. Dad was a true clown, both figuratively and literally. His grandchildren were blessed to have such a joyful grandfather in their lives.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Reception and interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Aldo's memory to the Khartum Shrine Patient Transportation Fund.

It has been many years since we had seen Aldo, but he was Best Man at our wedding in 1972. He will always be remembered as a great friend. Our most sincere condolences on the loss of this good man. - Posted by: Gordon Carlow (Friend) on: Jul 17, 2019

Well met Al back in the 1990s when I became a cottage owner at Grand Beach and then a Board Member of the Grand Beach Cottage Owners Association. Served under his Presidency and I became President a few years later. His passion for the park was undoubted. He even started our Citizens on Patrol Program, which I took over also for Grand Beach. He is truly a Grand Beach Legend and his photo and bio is permanently displayed in the Grand Beach Community Club. Our community will sorely miss his contributions and desire to keep Grand Beach "GRAND". - Posted by: Terry H. Neplyk (friend) on: Apr 21, 2019

Aldo was one of the first people I met at Centra Gas, he was a great co worker and always did his best to help anyone out. It was a cold winter day when I started, Aldo saw I had no Winter jacket, he came right up to me said here’s my Corp card go to Mark’s and get yourself a proper coat. He will be missed. - Posted by: Craig Sexton (Co worker ) on: Apr 16, 2019

I met Al 45 years ago and we remained friends throughout that time. He was a wonderful family man, a mason and a shriner, a clown, and one heck of a good DJ...but most of all he was a good man and I'm glad to have had the privilege of his friendship. I will never forget him. Love & peace my friend, your Pal Hal - Posted by: Harold Dawson (Friend) on: Apr 13, 2019

David, Michael, Emilio and Family. We are very sorry to hear of your Father's recent passing. As you know, Aldo and I (Jo) were childhood friends, our parents were very close friends. I have great memories of the many wonderful times our families spent together. Unfortunately Henry and I are unable to attend his funeral but please know our thoughts and prayers are with you.
