BETTY MARSH
Betty was born in Halifax, England and met her husband, Ron. They were married in 1948 and came to Winnipeg in 1974 where they lived for the remainder of their lives. Betty was kind, gentle, full of life and always had a big smile and hug for everyone. She enjoyed knitting, bowling, curling and had a puzzle on the go at all times. Betty loved to dance and never missed a chance to "kick up her heels" once the music began. She loved animals and always gave a home to an animal in distress.
Betty was predeceased by her husband Ron in May 1999. She leaves to mourn her "special" family, Wanda, Curtis, Candice and Corrine (Winnipeg) and loving nieces, Pamela (Australia), Barbara and Eileen (England).
Our heartfelt thank you to the Angels of Lions Supportive Housing and Personal Care Centre, 2nd floor (where she resided for three and one half years) for their wonderful care and dedication. You made Betty feel special and brought her much joy.
In keeping with Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place and no formal service will be held.
Every day brings us a chance
to draw in a breath,
kick off our shoes and dance.
To Dance is to Live!
