A funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at Charleswood United Church, with a reception to follow. Reverend Dr. Michael Wilson will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Al's life.

Al and Helen were my neighbors on Acorn for many years and were also long time members of Charleswood United Church, as am I. Though we didn’t spend much time together, I always saw them together at church. For many years, Al was a tireless landscape gardener for the church. He will be missed.
