She is survived by five children: Nivian Alexander, Allison Alexander, Sylvester Alexander, Jill Alexander and Chantal Alexander, her grandchildren: Nichiren de Landro-Alexander, Sylvester Alexander III, Dylan Alexander, Brendan Alexander, Nikisah Hendrickson-Alexander, David Alexander and Christopher Alexander; also by two brothers and seven sisters, numerous nieces and nephews, and her beloved cat Coco.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home with viewing prior, 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., 4000 Portage Ave., Winnipeg, MB.

To the Alexander Family Children and other relatives. My Mom met Moreen in 77/78 at a nursing home where they were both working. My mother marvelled and said that Moreen was such a hard worker. Moreen was pretty much working 2 jobs and looking after her children and her son Nivian helping his mother and brother and sisters the best any sibling could. Years later all that hard work paid off when your family opened a successful small business. I have always heard that Moreen was a go-getter, and went after what she wanted in life.
