GEORGE WEST
George is survived by his wife Juelle, daughter Kandi (Bruce), son Jim; grandchildren, Sarah, Bradley, and Tanner, as well as many nieces, nephews, sister and brothers-in-law and many friends.
For many years he owned his own businesses in the town of Selkirk, was a Captain at St. Andrew's Fire Department, played golf and hockey with many friends. Our talented dad will be remembered by friends who knew him as Santa bringing the spirit of Christmas to the streets of Selkirk ringing his bells with his horse and sleigh. Dad could build or fix anything and was an amazing art painter. He enjoyed time with those who shared his passion in the antique car club, his love of golf and hockey and had worked for Air Canada for many years.
Our family has great admiration and gratitude for the staff at the Tyndall Building, ward 5.
A celebration of George's life will be held at Gilbart Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 1:00 p.m.
Condolences may be left on his tribute wall at www.gilbartfuneralhome.com

Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. When you look up at the sky tonight think of the stars as porch lights welcoming Uncle George home. Love Debbie and Martin - Posted by: DEBBIE AND MARTIN BRUNNER (Niece) on: Apr 20, 2019
