JANICE DOREEN OSTASH (SPEARMAN)
Offer Condolences or Memory Make a donation to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation
JANICE OSTASH
Doreen Ostash (nee Spearman), aged 71 years.
She will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 31 years, Larry, her two sons,
Gerald (Blondine) and Kevin (Milanka), her brother Rick (Rose), her grandchildren,
Roman, Marcus, Lazar, Alexis and Milos as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Jan had many passions in life, some of which included playing cards with her friends Milli and Brian, shopping, going out to the
casino, purses, and her dog Brandy. Mom worked at Prince Edward Legion for a
number of years where she found true
happiness with her many veterans becoming close with many of them and she was
saddened when due to her health concerns she was forced to leave her regulars as she called them.
Mom, we all love you so much, we miss you but at the same time are pleased you are at peace finally.
The family wishes to express our thanks to CancerCare Manitoba and the staff on the palliative care ward at St. Boniface Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.

This does not seem real Mom, I still cannot believe you are gone but I know you are at peace now and the suffering is over. I will miss the coffee visits with you and the many conversations about anything, Your Grand kids miss you and I promise that they will never forget you or how much you loved them. The world just seems empty without you Mom. I know the hole in my heart will never really heal, Miss you and love you mom ... always. Love Kev - Posted by: Kevin McRoanld (Son) on: Apr 27, 2019
