I'm so sorry to hear of Auntie Marie's passing, she was always so nice to us girls. One of the last times I saw her she came to visit me when I worked at the greenhouse, was such a nice visit. - Posted by: Jaye Grant (Brian Grants Middle Daughter) on: May 06, 2019

My sincere condolences to her daughters and grandbabies at this difficult time. I grew up in Ontario and now live overseas so only have a few memories of Aunt Marie and Uncle Ralph but all were very fond. Always kind, supportive and welcoming for a visit passing through Winnipeg or through letters and the odd visit in person. Crafty? I still have some handmade bunnies in my stash. Not sure if she made them for us or her sister?? Sending big hugs and lots of love to you all. - Posted by: Lindsay Cowley (Great Niece) on: May 02, 2019

I've always lived a good distance away from Winnipeg so only got to know Aunt Marie and Uncle Ralph through occasional visits and over the phone. Regardless of time and distance, they always felt close and I fondly remember the times we got to visit, especially the few times to Sand Hook and morning walks with Aunt Marie. Condolences to Connie, Donna, Susan and their families. She'll be greatly missed and fondly remembered. - Posted by: Dave Branson (Great-nephew) on: May 02, 2019

Condolences to the Grant family especially to my friend Susan. Although I only met Marie a few times she made a mark in my memory. I have made a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba in Marie’s memory. - Posted by: Shirley Holgate (Friend of family ) on: May 01, 2019

Aunt Marie was a great part of all that was good in my life. She was a gifted skater and I will remember that on the day she left us I was watching a performance of Stars on Ice. She showed us how to enjoy life, but always showing kindness and compassion for other people as well as animals of all descriptions. She made me feel a part of the family and I treasure the memories. - Posted by: Lynne Branson (Niece) on: Apr 30, 2019
