• God called you home too soon, but we have no control over his judgement. You were a good Father and Grandpa. Jason, Gabby, Sadie and Danica will miss not having you in their lives. I do have a sense of peace knowing that you are with our beloved daughter (Jennie). Take care of her Bill. Give her a hug for me and tell her how much I love and miss her every day. • I was deeply saddened to hear of Bill's passing. I grew up in the same neighborhood as Bill and we became best of friends. Bill was a very thoughtful and likable person. He would do anything to help a friend. We enjoyed many good times together. One of his closest friends was Teddy and I am sure that they are both together in God's heavenly home. • I met Bill in the early 1960s and soon became a close friend. My earliest recollection of meeting Bill was playing road hockey on Anderson Avenue with a group of locals which included Bill. Even though I moved away from Winnipeg at the age of 21 I always caught up with Bill and our group of friends when visiting Winnipeg in the 1970s to late 1999. I last spoke to Bill this past January over the phone for about an hour. We had a humorous entertaining discussion about many of our adventures and misadventures as teenagers some of which I had long forgotten about.
