DORIS PEWARCHUK

(formerly KOTOWICH) (nee BOGOSKY)
Peacefully, on Thursday, May 2, 2019, at the Red River Place Personal Care Home, Doris Pewarchuk, aged 92 years, of Selkirk, MB, passed away.
Doris was born June 30, 1926 in Gonor, Manitoba and she lived there most of her life, moving to Selkirk in 1972. She married Conrad in 1947 and had three children, Ken, Garry and Gail; stepchildren, June and Valerie. Doris married again in 1980 to Leon Pewarchuk Sr. and had 20 wonderful years together until his passing on December 31, 1999. She was also predeceased by her parents, Mike and Sophia Bogosky in 1981 and 1982; and brothers, Mike and Nick (Marie). She leaves to cherish her memory her son Ken Kotowich and grandson Ian; son Garry Kotowich; daughter Gail (Todd); stepson Leon Pewarchuk (Janet); stepdaughters, June (Ron) and Valerie (Don), as well as all of their families.
Doris was a breast cancer survivor since 1978. A wonderful daughter, sister, mother and grandmother. She loved dancing and music. Doris used to dance by herself in her room to old time music on the radio on Saturday nights.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2019, in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB at 10:30 a.m. with viewing prior.
