JUNE LORRAINE CAMERON
July 27, 1929 - April 9, 2019
She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Bob (Cindy), Craig (Simone), and James; granddaughters, Kristjana, Jessie, Anna and Alix; and great-grandson Wesley. June will be sadly missed by sisters, Pat and Carole; and brother Don. June was predeceased by husband Alex; and daughter Leslie; and parents, Allan and Ruby Sinclair.
June grew up and went to school in West Kildonan and maintained relationships with her lifelong friends. She had fond memories of time spent with family at the farm in Elm Creek and cherished her time at the cottage at Pointe du Bois. She kept regular contact with her out of province family and she delighted in the accomplishments of her granddaughters. June held high regard for the value of friends and for the importance of volunteering with various organizations, most recently Good Neighbours and McBeth House.
June was a talented artist in a variety of mediums and she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Manitoba in 1988. She was a contributing member of the Forum Art Institute and the Crafts Guild of Manitoba. She loved to travel, across Canada and overseas, and experienced much joy from nature.
The family wishes to thank Maples Personal Care Home for the wonderful care that was provided to June.
At June's request, a family memorial service will be held on Monday, May 13, at 1:00 p.m., at Glen Eden Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations in June's memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation.

I was saddened to hear of your Mom’s passing. We kept in touch until the last few months. I will miss her. She was so good about keeping in touch with my Mom. They had a marvellous friendship. Please accept my sincere condolences. I know how hard it is, even with a Mom that lived to a good age. (In case you didn’t know, Mom/Joyce passed January 17). Thinking of all of you!
