Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Dear Dorothy, Dennis and I were saddened to read of Jack's passing. Dennis and I had the privilege of playing bridge with Jack and Dorothy on Friday afternoons with the "Creakers" Bridge Club. We always enjoyed coming to their table for our lessons in bridge as both he and Dorothy were strong bridge players. We always had some interesting discussions on how the hand should have been played (once played) as most bridge players do and always done in the most friendly way. Jack was a kind and honest man with a lovely sense of humour and a keen way of making people feel at ease as we always did when we were in his company. We will miss seeing, hearing him and sharing a good game of bridge with him on Friday afternoons. Thinking of you Dorothy at this very sad time.
