• To All Isfjord Family Members; I met your father a few times and he always had a smile and good word to say. I recall him jamming with my Father and making music together. He seemed to love life and certainly will be missed. My thoughts are with your Mom as she transitions with the love of her large family. • Deepest condolences to the entire Isfjord family. My brother, father and myself spent many years working with Norm in the city of Winnipeg arenas, his work ethic was second to none, was an excellent instructor and in my case a great mentor. While we were installing the ice in such rinks as Old Exhibition, West Kildonan or at Keewatin arenas we all looked forward when Norm was leading the crew . During those long shifts, Norm would convey a yarn /story that would literally have us all laughing hysterically,(nobody could tell a story like Norm!!! ) and like any good leader, helped everyone refocus and continue on, thru the late night to complete the task at hand. We worked side by side for many years and would convey his love for his family, his retirement to Gimli and all of the secrets of making a great bottle of wine !!! • My deepest condolences of the passing of Gavrock. I have great memories of growing up with the family. Gavrock always made me feel welcome at his home in Winnipeg and in Gimli. He was very supportive of all the sports that we played, especially lacrosse. I have fond memories of going on fishing adventures on the Icelandic River and at Hecla. • Your dad was truly an amazing man that raised an amazing family with his incredible wife...always smiling! A great memory I had was just last summer I was on my morning hike and he was driving by and literally pulled over on side of highway and said "Good Job Kathy....keep it going ..your doing great!"
