(nee PICCA)
July 29, 1947 - May 13, 2019
Left to honour and cherish her memory is her husband of 52 years, Ignazio Pansini; her sons, Mike (Stella) and Dom (Carol); daughter; and her grandchildren, Ignazio, Annamaria, Marco and Massimo.
She was predeceased by her parents, Domenico Picca and Lucrezia Balacco. She also leaves behind her brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces who live in Winnipeg, MB and Molfetta, Italy.
Anna was born in Molfetta, Italy and in 1967 she married the love of her life Ignazio Pansini. They both immigrated to Winnipeg, MB to begin a new life together. For 32 years she worked at Poseidon Long Term Care and she enjoyed every day of it.
She loved sewing and baking in her spare time.
Mom was a kind, loving, energetic and compassionate wife, grandmother and friend. Two and a half years ago Mom was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Through this entire journey Mom always maintained a positive attitude and persevered despite all of the challenges she faced. Mom maintained dignity and strength throughout it all.
Our deepest gratitude goes out to all the doctors and nurses who guided Mom in her time of need. Over the past two months the staff at Riverview Health Centre showed our Mom kindness, compassion and great care. A special thank you goes out to Dr. Ralph Wong.
The family will receive condolences at 10:00 a.m. followed by the Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, May 17 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Parish Church, 510 River Avenue with Reverend Father Sam Argenziano as the Celebrant. Entombment will follow the Mass in the Holy Angel Mausoleum at Green Acres Memorial Gardens, 1 Green Acres Lane.
Mom we know that you are now at peace and you are now our Guardian Angel up above.
We love you very much.
