THELMA WAGNER
(nee DANIELS)
1928 - 2019
Thelma has gone on to join her beloved husband Gordon, her parents, Ernest and Mary, and Gordon's parents, Conrad and Emily. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, Martin (Wendy) and Bryan (Sheryl); grandchildren, Rachel, Kate, Trevor (Kristina) and Natasha; brother Raymond Daniels, and many nieces and nephews.
Thelma lived a full, active life. She was a world traveller, a lifelong learner and a dedicated volunteer. MTS Pioneers, North Centennial Seniors and Parkside Seniors all greatly benefited from her enthusiasm, knowledge and education.
Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She was a wonderful grandmother who was especially proud of each of her grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Dr. Bharj, the palliative care team and all the doctors and nurses who cared for her over the last months.
At Thelma's request, a private family service has already taken place.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

I am so terribly sorry to have just learned of Auntie’s passing. My heart goes out to Martin, Brian, and their families, as well, to my father, Ray. You are in my thoughts, Shelley. - Posted by: Shelley (Niece) on: Dec 28, 2019

Thelma was a valued member of the club for many years. She held positions on the Board, always worked hard helping in the kitchen, participated in the Grandma/Grandpa swim with daycare children program, organized trips and excursions and was always ready to help anyone who needed help. Her absence is a tremendous loss to our club. Our deepest condolences go to the family and friends. - Posted by: North Centennial Seniors Association (Club Member) on: Jun 13, 2019

A True pleasure to be friends with such a special lady. We enjoyed many fun Bus trips with All Road Tours. Thelma always had a good joke and a travel story. We exchanged my shortbread for her delicious meat pie at Christmas. Shared coffee and a Teen Burger a few times at A & W after her Bowling at Polo Park Lanes. Hugs to your family XoX - Posted by: Harding (Friend) on: May 18, 2019

Dear Wagner family, Thelma was a faithful friend to my parents and us. She was a fun And dedicated Sunday School teacher! We always delighted in her sense of humour. God's peace, Tom and Linda (Henney) Lurvey - Posted by: Linda and Tom Lurvey (Friend) on: May 18, 2019
