JOHN RIEL
November 27, 1927 - February 13, 2019
John was survived by his sister Fern Purse (Riel) and her daughter Suzy, brother Louis Riel and wife Lynn (Marg) and their children (Theresa, Louis Joseph, Robert Paul), sister Patricia Milburn (Warren and Riel), his daughter Leanne Whitequille, and John's amazing friend and caregiver, Donna McCarthy.
John was predeceased by his wife of over 58 years, Laurine Martel; his mother Ann Riel (Vermette) 1893-1993; his sisters and brothers, Betty McMillan (Brian, Alex and Suzy), Denis Riel (Hommer, Roger, Leonna), Marie Miller (David, Gordie, Allan), Therese Nichal (Bobby) and Ulysse Riel.
To the staff and his friends at Villa Youville Personal Care Home, we would like to thank you for the care, friendship and support he received.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 25, 2019, at the Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church in Ste. Anne, MB.
