1921 - 2019
Mom will be deeply missed by her six children, Ron (Joyce), Shirley (Ken), Dolores (Fred), Linda (Guy), Lorraine (Barry) and Gloria (Brian), 11 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her sisters, Isabelle, Kay, Rose and Hazel and brother Fred; sisters-in-law, Angelina and Doris, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
We sincerely thank the staff at Meadowood Manor for their compassionate care towards our mother in her final months. We would also like to thank Pastor Holland, Florence with palliative care and friend Helen for their compassion and kindness during all their visits with Mom.
Funeral mass will take place at St. Bernadette Parish, 820 Cottonwood Road, Tuesday, May 21 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served after mass with interment to follow at Green Acres Cemetery, Highway #1 East at Navin Road.
Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Jeff Stephen, Lori Clark, Cheryl Lidster, James Briscoe, Andrea Cockerill, Joanna Ayotte, Ian Briscoe, Dallas Korell and Meagan Korell and great-grandson Isaiah Cockerill (honorary).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Meadowood Manor, 577 St. Anne's Rd., Winnipeg, MB R2M 3G5 or Assiniboine Park Conservatory "Adopt a Bench", 55 Pavilion Cres., Winnipeg, MB R3P 2N6.
