FRANCES MADELINE ROSCOE
(nee MCPHAIL)
Madeline is survived by her sister Noreen McPhail, her nieces, Lori Allan (Mowat) and Marilyn Hayes (Alan and family), and her nephew Keith Allan (Janet). She was predeceased by her husband Fred Roscoe; her sister Jeanne Allan; and her brother-in-law Aubrey Allan.
Madeline was born near Brandon, Manitoba to Herbert and Frances McPhail on March 30, 1922. After completing her high school, she moved to Winnipeg. She worked as a secretary for the Government of Manitoba for many years. In her retirement, Madeline and Fred enjoyed travelling with Noreen, including trips to Alaska and British Columbia. Golf was also a passion of hers.
Madeline will be deeply and always missed, but we are comforted in knowing that she is at rest and beyond the afflictions of this world.
The family would like to extend sincere thanks for the wonderful support provided to Madeline by her home care staff during the last few years of her life. We are also grateful to the staff of Grace Hospital and Deer Lodge Centre, Fourth Floor East, for their dedication and the attentive care given to Madeline during her final days.
A private service and interment will take place at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens.
