BRIAN THOMAS JACKSON
May 22, 1942 - June 4, 2019

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Brian Thomas Jackson on June 4, 2019 at St. Boniface Hospital with his wife by his side.
He was greeted by his late son Michael and they are fixing appliances together again and talking about cars.
He will be sadly missed by his wife of 55 years, Diane, daughter Laurie (Jackson) Watts (Guy Glesby), grandson Cole, granddaughter Celina and many relatives and friends.
Brian owned and operated Accurate Washer and Appliance for all his life up until his retirement in 2011. He was also an active member of MSRA for 25+ years and enjoyed being part of the Rodarama Car show. He also loved going to "Back to the 50's" in Minneapolis. In recent years Brian would spend mornings with his best friend Joe Sandy and their other coffee buddies at McDonalds to solve all the world's problems.
For our future celebrations, let's mix a rum and coke and make a toast to Brian.
A celebration of his life will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 13, 2019 at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West St. Paul, MB.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 1379 Kenaston Blvd., Winnipeg, MB R3P 2T5.

Condolences & Memories (8 entries)

  • Brian had a great sense of humour, and was always up for some adventure! I particularly recall a ride on the Honda big red through Mordens Meadows where he convinced me we were going through a owl protected area. He advised me that it was necessary to break off a twig, hold it behind my head to deter the nesting owls from swooping down on me. Well, he sure enjoyed a belly laugh watching me ride through there holding this big twig. I will never forget our 5 pin bowling days and the many fun times spent there. Brian, I will never forget you, and to the entire family, he will always be close. My sincere love and hugs. - Posted by: Phyllis. England (Friend) on: Jun 13, 2019
