MARGARET HECKERT
(nee SCHWARK)
1929 - 2019

With sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our mom, grandmother and great-grandmother, Margaret Heckert, on June 6, 2019, at the age of 90.
She was predeceased by her loving husband William in 1989, her daughter Darlene in 1952, her son Durwin in 1981, and her son Dennis in 2014. She was also predeceased by her parents, August and Minnie, and brothers and sisters.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children: daughter-in-law Bev Neisteter; Darrell (Susan); Sharlynne (Dave) Mariash and their children: Larissa (Matt) and their children, Troy, Eden and Farrah; Shayla and Kristopher; Darren (Donna) and their children, Candyce (Matt), Kristen (Carter), Tyson; Lorinda Tripp and her children, Jemaine and Preslie. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
Many thanks to the staff at East Gate Lodge for the many years of care and compassion.
Funeral service will be held at Zion Lutheran Church on Wednesday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. with viewing one hour prior. Interment will follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery.
Flowers are gratefully declined and a donation may be made to either the East Gate Lodge Recreation Fund or the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
