RENE DESROSIERS
January 30, 1929 - June 18, 2019

It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved father, grandfather and great- grandfather, Rene, on June 18, 2019.
Dad is predeceased by his loving wife, Therese of 62 years; sisters, Orise, Noellia and brother Rosaire.
He will be sadly missed by his loving family: Roland (Wendy), Diane (Lorne), Jeannine (Ron), Yvette (Brian), George (Birgit), Carole (Ron); grandchildren, Daniel (Karen), Monique (Dan), Keith (Dalena), Deneige (Shane), Crystal (Craig), Michael, Amelia (Mike), Duncan (Kelly and coming baby), Sabrina (Jackson), Kody and Dustin; great-grandchildren, Hayden, Beyla, Chloe, Ava, Kirsi, Cali, Sienna, Paisley and Ally; very special friend Shelly Kanfer; as well as siblings, Sr. Rita, Germain (Carmelle) and Anna.
Dad was born in Ste. Anne, MB and moved to Winnipeg in his early teens where he worked many jobs before finding his true passion in landscaping, later evolving into his own business Landscaping by Rene and Sons, but Dad's greatest love and joy was spending time with and being surrounded by his family.
Many thanks to the nurses and staff of Misericordia Health Center and Grace Hospital for their kind and compassionate care.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated on June 24 at 1:00 p.m. at Saints-Martyrs-Canadiens Church, 289 Dussault Avenue in St. Boniface. Reception to follow. Mom and Dad will be laid to rest together in Transcona Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of your choice.
