June 14, 1930 - June 6, 2019
Born to George and Eleanor Hahn on June 14, 1930 in Lestock, SK, Kay was one of 10 children in a loving and close family.
Katherine married Ernest Frank Appler on July 23, 1955. As Kay would say, "We had three beautiful and loving daughters", Lynn (Robert) Halowec, Leslie (Bary) Finch and Leesa (Greg) Sylvestre. She also cherished her six granddaughters, Christine and Allison, Amanda and Haley, and Jenna and Nicole.
Katherine was a beautiful lady of many talents. She was always an energetic spirit who met every challenge in life and career with enthusiasm.
Her memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at Grace Lutheran Church, 211 Kimberley Ave. at 11:30 a.m. Interment and reception to follow at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main St., West Saint Paul, MB.
