PEARL ELIZABETH KRISTINA LIGHT
(nee STAFFORD)
September 19, 1932 - June 17, 2019
Pearl was born in the R.M. of Armstrong to Erika and Joseph Stafford. She grew up in the Inwood area and moved to Selkirk, Manitoba where she married George Edward Light in 1953.
Pearl was predeceased by her parents; sister Astrid; brothers, George, Edwin, Frank and William and the love of her life George for 60 years, until his passing in 2012. Pearl will be greatly missed by her daughter Deborah Plomp (Ron); son Donald; grandsons, Michael Plomp (Danielle) and Tyler Plomp (Christine); great-grandchildren, Benjamin, Abbigail, Zoey, Dylan, Madison and Emma.
Pearl went into nurse's training in 1951 and worked at the Teulon Hospital, Health Sciences Centre and the Selkirk Mental Health Centre until she retired in 1992.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
