JOHANNA SIGRIDUR HJORLEIFSON
(nee THORDARSON)
December 25, 1921 - July 4, 2019
Mom will always be loved and remembered by her daughters, Gloria (Ernie) Johnson, Darlene (Bob) King, Linda (Ron) Proulx, Brenda (Harry) Schafer, Kathy Hjorleifson and their families, also her chosen daughter Lorraine Zabirka. She also leaves 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Mom was predeceased by her husband Barney Hjorleifson, grandson Terry, her parents, Helgi and Herdise, plus all her siblings.
As per Mom's request, cremation has taken place and a private family graveside service will be held at the Gimli Community Cemetery.
We would like to thank Arborg Personal Care Home for the wonderful care and kindness given to her during her stay for the last three years.
In lieu of flowers, if one so desires, donations to the Arborg Personal Care Home - Activity Director - in care of Karen.
