ROBERT BALDUR DANIELSON
Robert was born April 28 to Baldur and Inga (Palsson) Danielson. Robert spent the majority of his life in Arborg. He worked as a mechanic and carpenter in his earlier years and spent his remaining years helping his brother Glen on the family farm. He enjoyed his morning coffee with Glen and Harold on the farm. Robert loved conversation and was always up for a spirited debate. Robert had a love of animals and was especially fond of his herd of barn cats that he was always trying to rehome. Robert always took the time to chat with people he encountered on his town trips with Glen. The loss of Robert's interesting character will leave a tremendous void in our lives.
We wish to thank Dr. Donnely and the staff at the Arborg & District Hospital, as well as the ambulance service for their care and compassion.
In keeping with Robert's wishes there will be no formal funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes can contribute on Robert's behalf to the Arborg Unitarian Church, 242 Ingolf Street, Arborg, MB R0C 0A0 or the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.

My condolences to the family. I’ve known Robert since I was a teenager. He was character unto his own. Always treated me well and always willing to engage in conversation. The countless times he brought me/dropped off his homemade chili with the warning that it may be spicy. So generous of him. I always enjoyed it. - Posted by: Frank Koblun (Friend) on: Jul 17, 2019

I've known Robert for many years ever since I got my first car. He was the go to guy for mismatch tires used headlights and all the advice to to keep it going for one more week. He would always take your new license plate and lightly toast it on the wood stove in the garage for reasons I'll keep a secret. Later in life it became a quick chat in the Co-op parking lot or the odd auction sale . He always had a smile and a million questions about two million topics. In all my travels I've never met a person with a sense of humour and personality like Robert. Truly unique! He will be missed many people . Hope he is up in the big Pungerosa in the sky !!! - Posted by: Eric Johnson (Friend) on: Jul 16, 2019
