SOLANGE VERRIER

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Solange Verrier (nee Simard), on July 14, 2019. She went peacefully, with family by her side.
She will be sadly missed by her children, Anita, Daria LeBrun, Marie Reine Mathieson (Brian), Claude (Sheila), Guy (Sharon), Léo (Lynne), Pauline Kopp (Edmund), Claire Rivard (Robert), Murielle Cyr (Marcel), Colette Lussier (Claude) and Michel (Debbie), numerous grandchildren, great-grand-children, and great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves her brothers, Alix and Gerard Simard (Lucille) and her sisters, Thérèse Leclair, Rose Sauvelet, Marie Ménard, Eliane (Leo) Vincent and Yolande (Guy) Perrin.
She was predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Dora Simard, her husband Arthur (1983), her daughter Grace Paisley (2003), her sons-in-law, Thomas Paisley (1999) and Louis LeBrun (2009), her sisters, Gratia Rossier and Elizabeth Michaud, and brothers, René, Lionel and Laurent.
We would like to give special thanks to the staff at the Villa Youville in Ste. Anne for their love and care for Mom, as well Sr. Rioux for her endless compassion.
Funeral service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, 162 Central Avenue, Ste. Anne, MB. Public viewing will be held prior to the service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Villa Youville, 15 Charrière Road, Ste. Anne, MB R5H 1C8.
