SARAH MCDONALD
Left to mourn are Sarah's sons, Terry (Rina), Miles (Samantha), Murray (Sharon) and Vincent as well as siblings, Johan (Susan) and Katherine.
Mom was predeceased by the love of her life, Elwin, and son Mark, as well as brothers, Jacob, Henry, Peter and Julius, and sisters, Anne and Mary.
Sarah has some very loyal lifelong friends so we wish to thank you ladies.
Mom and Dad farmed at Sanford for many years. Sarah was known for her baking and cooking prowess as well as the gardens we had. Asked what the recipe was for her buns, she said she didn't have one because it was all about the feel of the dough. Sarah had a huge flower garden in the yard. It was truly amazing. Mom always wore a smile and would brighten any room with her entry and you always knew you were loved. Sarah adored the Blue Jays and watched all of the games.
Service will take place Monday, July 22 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.
Pallbearers are Johan Banman, Terry McDonald, Miles McDonald, Murray McDonald, Vincent McDonald and Adam Lane.
In lieu of flowers Mom had a special place in her heart for Coats for Kids having knit for them for over 20 years.
The family would like to thank Oakview Place for her care for the last two years as well as Grace Hospital emergency and first responders.
