She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1986, her parents, John and Lily Ferris (Twerdun), seven brothers and two sisters. She leaves to cherish her memory, her son Dennis (Debbie), grandsons, Brad (Mireille) and Derek (Chantal), great-grandchildren, Deserae (Garret), Lily and Will, great-great-granddaughter Grace. Her baby sister Laura (George) Ledechowski, numberous nieces, nephews and special friends.
A special thank you to her niece Betty, Father Mark Tarrant, and the amazing staff at Meadowood Manor.
A service celebrating Mom's life will be held at St. Vital Parish, 1629 Pembina Hwy., Winnipeg on Friday, August 2 at 10:30 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, Unit 1-452 Dovercourt Dr., Winnipeg, MB R3Y 1G4.

Dear Denis, Debbie and family, sincere condolences from myself and my family. My first memory of your Mom was when Bob and I were first married and your parents made a trip to Vancouver. Denis, you were a cute and lively nine year old and I remember how proud your parents were of you. I’m currently in London, England so can’t attend her funeral but my thoughts are with you.
