Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • Dear David, I am so sorry to learn about the passing of your mother. Marjorie and I used to talk on the phone occasionally about our caregiving activities with our husbands, Jim and Bob. (Bob your second cousin, has Alzheimer's Disease.) Margorie was always friendly and kind to everyone she met. We always enjoyed seeing herand Jim when we were visiting with family in Winnipeg. Marjorie had an infectious laugh which put a smile on the face of everyone who had the pleasure of being in her company. Marjorie will be missed by all who knew her. We are keeping you, Jim and your families in our prayers. Blessings, Margaret-Ann (and for Bob) - Posted by: Margaret-Ann Miller (friend ) on: Oct 11, 2019

  • Dave and Jim- we are so sorry to hear of the passing of your sweet mom. Her smile was infectious and could light up anyone's day! Memories of your mom, barreling down Rice Road in her Toyota Previa, smile on her face, with half of FRC in the back! She would never pass by any student walking to school in those cold winter months. You boys kept her on her toes that's for sure and her love for you was so evident in how she looked at you, and spoke of you. I can only imagine Marg and Rita having a coffee in heaven laughing and reminiscing. What a lovely lady, she will be so missed. - Posted by: Kevin and Lorina Larson (Longtime Friends) on: Jul 27, 2019

  • Memories of Marjorie will sustain you as you grieve with your family. Marjorie was a great friend of my wife, Rita who passed away in December. Harry Schmidt - Posted by: Harry Schmidt (Friend) on: Jul 25, 2019

  • My sincere condolences to the family. Unfortunately I am on vacation in Newfoundland and will not be able to attend the service. Jim and I were in Law School together and I first met Marj when she and Jim was engaged. Many years have passed since their wedding. I have kept in touch and would let her know when I visited Jim. It was just a month ago that I spoke with Marj about Jim's health. She was a wonderful person with a great sense of humour and understanding. I will miss our conversions. • I got to know your Mom a bit as we sat at the table at Golden Links - she with Jim and me with my Mom. She was so welcoming and friendly. We shared many nursing stories, as I am a nurse as well. Your Mom was a beautiful woman. Praying that you all find comfort in your memories of her. Sorry for your loss. Barb - Posted by: Barb (Friend) on: Jul 23, 2019
