John was a “boss” who treated us fairly & ran us the way we wanted to be run. Always enjoyed working with him at Kleysons, then at TriLine, then Winnipeg Motor Express, good man. So very sorry for your loss, he loved his family. H&S - Posted by: Sally Orchard & Harold Bumstead (Truckers) on: Jul 27, 2019

I am so sorry Cathy and family for the loss of John. I worked with him years ago, he was such a wonderful person and true gentleman. He always made me laugh when I was having a rough day. You all will be in my thoughts, along with John, the gentle giant that he was. - Posted by: Gina Prystupa (Former co-worker) on: Jul 25, 2019

I am truly in shock to hear this sad news. John was a kind person. He always had a funny story to tell and when he talked about his children you could tell that they were his pride and joy. My heartfelt condolences to the whole family. - Posted by: Fil Couto (Stylist ) on: Jul 25, 2019

I am reading this and I can hardly believe it. Cathy I am so sorry for your loss. John was an an amazing person. He mentored me when I knew very little of the reefer business. We had our squabbles but at days end we always had respect for one another. I had and always will have the utmost respect for the him. He was not just my boss he was my mentor and my friend. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in this very difficult time. Take care.
