DOROTHY LILLIAN WARD
(nee RAPLEY)

On July 21, 2019, Dorothy passed away at the age of 100 years and four months.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband, John "Jack" Randolph Ward and was the last surviving child of Herbert and Margaret Rapley.
Dorothy was born on March 10, 1919 at Strathclair, Manitoba and was raised on the family farm along with brothers, Kenneth (Esther), Eric (Evelyn) and James (Dorothy) and sisters, Mary, Eileen, Hazel (Douglas) and Florence (Palmi "Red").
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Garnet (Sharon) and James (Kimberly), daughters, Joan, Brenda and Carol, sister-in-law Blanche Smith and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mother had been a resident at West Park Manor Personal Care Home in Winnipeg for eight years and said she wanted to live until she was 100 - she achieved her goal. Over these many years her family and close friends were of most importance to her.
The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her at West Park Manor Personal Care Home and during her final days.
A private Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends.
