JOHN DAVID RICHARDS
June 15, 1942 - July 27, 2019

With sadness we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. John fought a short illness and was lovingly surrounded by family on his journey. John was an avid nature lover and loved his cottage at Silver Falls.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Mary Richards, his in-laws, John and Ana Wasylenki, and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jeannie and Richard Thibodeau.
He will be greatly missed by his wife Linda, daughter Debbie, sons, Rob, David (wife Joanna) and James. He leaves his adored grandchildren, Jesse (Mandy), Emilie, Nicole, Joshua and Matthew, and his baby great-granddaughter Nova.
He also leaves to mourn his sister Linda and brother-in-law Cliff Fox, sister-in-law Bonnie and brother-in-law Russ Boals, and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Thanks, Bonnie, for our special visits and daily calls from Regina.
He will also be missed by friends, Heather, Carole, Dawn Berrie, Paul, Kim and Patti, David Hatch, Bart and Janice, Ray and Pat, Brad and Geri Ostrom, Mark and Rose Hadaller, and customers and business associates.
Thanks to the staff at Health Sciences Centre Emergency, MICU, GH7 and GA4 for their care and devotion to John and our family.
As per John's wishes cremation has taken place and the family will meet at a later date to mourn in private. There will be no service.
John leaves a hole in the hearts of his family. His strength and love have been passed on and he will be lovingly remembered.
