SYBIL GERTRUDE HOFF
August 27, 1921 - July 25, 2019

Sybil was born and raised in South Africa, where she and her husband owned the Trade Winds General Store in Ubombo, and later Richardson's Store in Nhlangano, Swaziland. They moved to Canada in 1974. She had a passion for gardening, art, sewing and reading.
She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Rosie; husband Percy; brothers, Ralph, Nolan and Jeffrey; stepchildren, Doreen and Derek; and daughters, Merle and Ursula (infancy).
She is survived by her sister Rhoda Southgate and children, Chantel, Shirley, Percy (Yvonne), Dawn (Rodney) and Ursula. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Her loving kindness and wisdom will always be remembered.
A memorial will be held August 31, 2019 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue at 2:30 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Salvation Army.
