EDMUND EHMANN
April 3, 1932 - July 29, 2019

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edmund Ehmann on July 29, 2019, at the age of 87.
Left to cherish his memory are his brother Emil, his sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Lisa, Manfred and Lisa, Tom and Eileen; grandchildren, Stephanie, Lauren, Danielle, Andrew, Sarah, Maia and Sean; along with extended family and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Frieda of 50 years, sisters, Else and Olga, brothers, Otto, Arthur, Robert and his mother and father Adolf and Martha.
Dad was born in Ossowo, Poland. He immigrated to Canada in November of 1952 and later married Mom in 1962. Upon his arrival in Winnipeg he worked in various positions ending his career with the City of Winnipeg, Parks and Recreation Department which he retired from in April, 1997. Dad loved the outdoors, particularly the many weekends at the cottage in Petersfield where great times were spent with friends and family. It was a great meeting place for many, providing everlasting memories. Both Mom and Dad loved and enjoyed time with the grandchildren. He leaves us with a legacy of memories for each and every one of us.

We love you and will miss you deeply
but know that you will never be forgotten.

Funeral and Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 12, 2019, at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Annemarie MacIntosh officiating at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment and reception to follow.
Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.
