PHYLLIS FLINT
September 2, 1935 - July 30, 2019
Phyllis will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 39 years, Douglas Flint and daughters, Robin (David) Newton and Bonnie McKenzie, stepson Gordon (Lynda) Flint, brother-in-law George (Beverly), as well as grandchildren, Trevor (Lesley), Michelle (Geoff), Christopher (Delaney), Cameron, Andrew and Naomi. Phyllis is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Phyllis was predeceased by her stepson, Kenneth Flint, father and mother, John and Eloise Serle, father and mother-in-law, Ross and Charlotte Flint, brother David Serle and sister-in-law Coralie Serle, and brother-in-law John Flint and his wife, Margaret.
A memorial service celebrating Phyllis' life will be held on Tuesday, August 6 at 11:00 a.m. at Young United Church, 222 Furby Street (at Broadway) with Rev. Tim Crouch officiating. Interment will follow at a later date in Neepawa, Manitoba. Parking is available at Thomson Funeral Home, 669 Broadway.
The family would like to thank all the nurses, unit assistants and doctors who were so kind and caring to Phyllis on 4GD at HSC. You were very much appreciated. Special thanks to the staff in dialysis both at HSC/Children's Hospital and in Selkirk, Manitoba.
