Condolences & Memories (9 entries)

  • I met Jerry while working at MTS Centre. I was sad to hear about his passing. He was one of those guys that always had a smile or a joke for you and made you chuckle no matter what your day was like. You were a good man with a great big heart. You will be missed by all your co-workers at MTS. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Debbie Dutka (Co-workers ) on: Aug 29, 2019

  • I have to say I meet Jerry around ten years ago and I do not have words to say how sad the news has made me..He was so incredibly kind and upbeat, he made going to work something to look forward too..You will be sadly missed my friend.. - Posted by: Melanie (Friend and coworker ) on: Aug 29, 2019

  • Jerry was “one of the boys” that I enjoyed playing pool with at The Legend. It was not so much the pool, but rather Jerry’s friendliness that I enjoyed most. He was a kind heart, I am happy that I got to know him. Wishing my sincere condolences to his friends and family. - Posted by: Shaemus Campbell (Friend) on: Aug 28, 2019

  • Have known Jerry to be a kind and always very interested in the lives of those he has touched. He will be missed but not forgotten. May you Rest In Peace in the arms of Jesus! - Posted by: Jayne Siepman (Friend) on: Aug 15, 2019

  • Many great childhood memories of my uncle Jerry on your beautiful farm in Beausejour. I remember getting my first ride on your horse, Chuck. Your dad had to run beside Chuck the whole time. I just remember feeling that your Dad had to take a great deal of care so as to not let the horse run wild because no one knew how to ride. That crazy, mean rooster that your dad had on his back, literally. It would be trying to peck or jump on someone and your dad had to kick it and get it away. Good times and lots of laughs. I hope you two know how very sorry I am, he was a beautiful man. Thinking of you all. - Posted by: Jennifer Atkinson (Niece) on: Aug 15, 2019

  • Jerry was a lifelong friend. Back in our school days in the Listowel district, my brothers and I would occasionally catch a ride to school in the dead of winter with Jerry in the old caboose. Jerry and brother Ron Archer were best of friends. Jerry will be missed. To Carol and Jerry's family, my deepest condolences. - Posted by: Del Archer (Friend) on: Aug 11, 2019

  • I was saddened to hear of the loss of such a great person. Jerry was one of my favourite people, although he was having some challenges several years ago, he always had a smile on his face and was thankful for everything he had. Heaven has just gained a lovely person, he has gone to be with his love! My thoughts are with you Darren! - Posted by: Kathy Joy (Friend) on: Aug 10, 2019
