ROSAIRE DONAT JOSEPH GRENIER
November 18, 1936 - August 9, 2019

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that the family of Rosaire Donat Joseph Grenier announces his sudden passing after a brief illness, on Friday, August 9, 2019, at the age of 82 years.
Rosaire will be deeply missed by his wife Jeannette; his daughter Rachel (David); Colin (Jenn), Paul (Rose) and many grandchildren. He will be lovingly remembered by his brothers, Hubert, Paul and Norbert; his sisters, Alexandrine and Laurette as well as countless nieces, nephews and lifelong friends.
Rosaire was predeceased by his wife Annette (née Gérardy); brothers, Joe and George; sisters, Alphonsine, Noëlia, Clémence, Yvonne, Esther, Denise and Angéline; his best friends, Denis Gérardy and Bobby Grenier; as well as many other loved ones and family.
Rosaire was a kind-hearted, hardworking and gentle man with a quick-witted sense of humour. A friend to all, he always greeted you with a warm smile. He enjoyed the great outdoors; snowmobiling, riding ATVs and hunting, which he loved to do in the company of his family and friends. Although he worked out-of-province for over three decades with Querel Gravel and Lumber, he also ran his cattle farm in St. Labre, Manitoba, where he lived his entire life. In retirement, many afternoons were spent tinkering in his garage or lending a hand to others.
Rosaire led a modest, but rich life. He leaves us as better people just by having been part of ours. He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16, 2019, at 1:00 p.m. at Saint-Benoit-Labre Catholic Church, St. Labre, Manitoba with interment to follow.
