It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother Helen Swirski, on Monday, August 12, 2019 at East Gate Lodge in Beausejour, at the age of 84.
She was predeceased by her parents, Wladslav and Julia; brother Joseph and her husband Mike Swirski.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Ron (Anna), Michael (Marilyn), Peter and Christine (Doug). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Felicia, Doug Jr., Dee Dee and Perry.
The family would like to thank the staff at Gimli Hospital and East Gate Lodge for the care and compassion they showed towards our mother.
Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Garson, MB with interment to follow in the Tyndall Cemetery. Prayers will be said on Friday, August 16, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. at Sobering Funeral Chapel, 1035 Park Avenue E., Beausejour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba Foundation, 675 McDermot Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R3E 0V9.
