ELEANOR MAY PARR
March 26, 1921 - August 8, 2019

Eleanor was the fourth of eight children for John and Jane Stamper of Killarney, Manitoba. Eleanor married Michael Parocholski on September 20, 1947 at St. Mary's Cathedral in Winnipeg.
Full obituary was recorded in Winnipeg Free Press on August 17, 2019.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Interment will follow in Glen Eden Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.

ELEANOR MAY PARR
March 26, 1921 - August 8, 2019

Eleanor was the fourth of eight children born to John and Jane Stamper. She was raised on a farm south east of Killarney, Manitoba and attended Fairdale School.
While working in Winnipeg, Eleanor enlisted in the C.W.A.C. (Canadian Women's Army Corps). Eleanor had her basic training at Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue and was assigned to one of the teletype departments in Eastern Canada. Her major role was receiving and sending Morse Code messages.
Eleanor had met Michael Parocholski during the war and they were married on September 20, 1947 at St. Mary's Cathedral in Winnipeg.
Eleanor worked in accounting for several companies such as the Province of Manitoba, James Richardson & Sons, Kirk & Watson Insurance and Travelers Insurance. Eleanor was a member of the Canadian Association of Insurance Women and of The Business and Professional Women's Club of Winnipeg.
Eleanor was predeceased by: her loving husband Michael Parr, their parents: John and Jane Stamper, Kazmir and Katherine Parocholski, their siblings: John Stamper, Joe (Shirley) Stamper, Beth (Don) (Leona) Cory, Thomas Stamper, Jean (Harvey) Froude, Evelyn (Clarence) Nuttall, Mary (Walter) Kozlawski, Frances (Frank) Kretowski and Helen (Alex) Zayac, nieces: Shirley Zayac, Rose Marie Skiba, Donna Osman and Caroline Skrypetz, nephews: Jerry Greenley and Nick Chornopyski, and great-nephew Darren Suchy.
Eleanor is survived by her sister Grace (Everett) Greenley and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Eleanor's extended family is grateful for the wonderful care Eleanor received over the past 12 years from Concordia Hospital, Deer Lodge Centre, WRHA Home Care, Revera companions, Misericordia Health Centre, Irene Baron Eden Centre and River East Personal Care Home.
