I was shocked to hear Uncle Bob passed away, my heart hurts for Gail and Lisa. He always made everyone feel at home and when he laughed you couldn't help but laugh. He was truly one of the nicest men I could've ever met and am so sad he isn't here to live out his retirement. My sincerest thoughts are with you guys during what I know is one of the hardest times of your life. - Posted by: Leanne Passante (Neice of his sister Vicki) on: Aug 24, 2019

When I met Mr. Zalusky- he was known as Bobby. Nicknames like Zulu and Fuzzy came as we played numerous games in the fields at Margaret Scott School. Bobby was small and fast. His speed made him one of the first players picked for any game. In all the games we played, baseball, mutchka, football, ball hockey, and lacrosse Bobby was one of best athletes in our group. His athletic ability and risk taking nature made him one of the best runners in the game of mutchka. He would take off at any time, usually when you least expected it, dodging balls along the way. Fuzzy had the greatest attitude to sports- try your best, but when the game was over the outcome never really mattered. The balanced approach to sport and life made him a great friend. As Bobby morphed into Fuzzy he became his own man- choosing his hobbies and career based upon his own skills and values. I remember him buying his first Jimmy to further his interest in nature and fishing. He was happy to go his own way doing what was important to him. Then Fuzzy met Gail and they immediately became an item. They were inseparable - like Sonny and Cher (at the time). And that relationship continues today. It will be impossible to see Gail and not think of Fuzzy. Over the years I would run into Fuzzy - usually at the Toronto airport. I was going to a meeting in Ottawa and he was off to training in the USA. Fuzzy had a great capacity to learn and this ability allowed him to grow in his job. No meeting would be complete without updates on our families. He seemed very happy with his job and career and his life. I had the good fortune to meet Fuzzy at Kildonan Park about a year ago. We had a great conversation- there was not awkwardness or distance. We talked about our careers and families- Fuzzy was especially proud of his youngest daughter the engineer. Now when I look back on this conversation I realize how fortunate I was to meet him that day and how fortunate it that he moved into the house on Aberdeen. - Posted by: Doug Krochak (Friend) on: Aug 22, 2019
