CHARLES HENRY DAVIS
Charles is survived by his son Charlie of Winnipeg and daughter Gloria (Ernie) of Edmonton and grandchildren, Tracy Murphy (Kevin), Michael Murphy, Paul Murphy, Crystal Fischer (Jason), and great-grandchildren, Jennifer Hooke (Matt), Jesse, Brent Kahne, Chloe, Jaqueline, Savanah, Sienna and great-great-grandson Grayson James. He was predeceased by his father Neil and mother Anne and brothers, Truman and Neil; sisters, Mabel, Edie, Dora and Lil; his wife Catherine (2003); sons, Allan (1980) and Ralph (2006), as well as his granddaughter Sherry (2001).
On June 7, 1925, Charles was born in Maryfield, Saskatchewan. He lived on the farm until 1966 and worked odd jobs, until his full-time employment with the City of Winnipeg and retired in 1990 at the age of 65 years.
On Thursday, August 22, 2019, a funeral service will be held for Charles at 10:00 a.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, Winnipeg.
