MARGARET EVELYN KERNAGHAN

It is with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother and Aunty. Margaret Kernaghan died on August 14, 2019 at the age of 88.
Margaret was predeceased by her husband Gord. She leaves behind her son David (Rose); daughter Wendy (John); five beloved grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren (one more due in October). She is also survived by her twin brothers, Gord and Gary.
Margaret loved her crafts and was always painting intricate butterflies and birds. She enjoyed the many winters in Arizona. Every summer Margaret loved to plant a vegetable garden and our dad was always the weeder. After retiring at age 50, Margaret was able to spend more time doing her favourite hobbies.
Special thanks to River East Care Home for their compassion towards Margaret.
In accordance with Margaret's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private service will occur at a later date.
