LORAINE HUUK
November 9, 1939 - August 23, 2019
"Life has been a dance"

Suddenly, and with deep regret, we announce the passing of Loraine Huuk.
After just recently losing the love of her life "Boobie" (Ralph Huuk) Loraine was soon to join him "so they can dance". We take comfort in knowing Ralph and Loraine have been reunited. May they walk together hand in hand throughout eternity, as they did every day in life.
Loraine lived a long spiritual life full of compassion for all people. She touched many people's lives with deep and long lasting friendships.
Loraine loved physical exercise and chose a very healthy way of living through her diet and strong belief in homeopathy. She was a "Master" in Reikei, studied Astrology with a beautiful group of women who she loved dearly and had a true love and fascination with the self realization readings of Paramachonoa Yoganda. Loraine had a love for books and would often share their knowledge with others. She has written beautiful poems and inspirations that the family will hold dear. Loraine was a HUGE fan of Elvis and he did not miss any of her birthdays.
Loraine is survived by her siblings, Harold, Shirley, Ernie, Jan and Ken; daughters, Karen, Janice and Laurie; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Loraine wanted to say thank you to Dr. Johnson and Dr. Kumar for their care and support over the years.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Loraine was a wonderfully kind, warm and generous and helpful friend to all. She shared her faith, beliefs and enthusiasm for life freely with so many people from all different walks of life and touched people's hearts in a most endearing manner. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her for her warm and wonderful generous spirit. Loraine was President of the Manitoba Astrology Association in the 1990s and she had the gracious habit of personally greeting each and every person as they entered the meeting room, leaving everyone with a warm feeling of belonging. Loraine believed in angels and I believe that she was our angel. She always saw the best qualities in every person. We will miss her terribly.
