We offer our sincerest condolences to the family on the loss of your Husband and Father. I remember many a years visiting the Lowry house with Shelley and then later with Cindy. Bob had the best garden and the most spectacular tomatoes I had ever seen. Bob always told the longest stories - lol as a teenager I could hardly sit still long enough to hear the whole thing LOL. RIP Mr Lowry. - Posted by: The Blatz Family (Friends of Cindy and Shelley Lowry) on: Sep 04, 2019

I played hockey with Bob since the early 1960's and up until the time I moved from Winnipeg in the late 70's . He was one of a kind and I'd get a phone call from him every now and then when one of our buddies went down . Condolences to Marlene and her family and best wishes to Bob with his new team , including the Rocket , Mr. Hockey , Jean Beliveau etc ., guys who he'd loved to have played with and against . RIP , Bob . - Posted by: Ken Dopson (Hockey buddy .) on: Sep 04, 2019

I enjoyed spending time listening to Bob’s stories of his military days over a beer or two at the Eagles Club in St. Norbert. We visited him and Marlene at their home in Pine Fall a few times. Vinko and I enjoyed our visits and sorry we hadn’t been there lately. We will miss Bob and May he RIP❤️🙏🏽 - Posted by: Linda St. Cyr (Friend ) on: Aug 31, 2019

So sorry to hear of Bob passing. He was a great friend for many years. We went on many hockey trips that he organized and helped me when I needed something. Will miss his phone calls from Pine Falls and sorry Bob never got there to visit you there. Rest In Peace - Harry Salamacha - Posted by: Harry Salamacha (Friend ) on: Aug 31, 2019

I played hockey with Bob in the late 60's and early 70's for the Winnipeg Tribune twice a week. You could always count on Bob because he was organized. Bob had a booming wrist shot! He loved to joke around! Everybody on the team knew when Bob was ready to shoot, don't stand in front or close to him because we knew it was either going to be a dribbler or a shot to the head! Most of the guys including me, had a nickname for him..."Break a pane of glass Bob." Uly woud like to come out tomorrow, but we do not know how to find you so could you please give him a call. 1-204-793-4929 We are so sorry to learn of Bob's passing . It is a big shock. Our prayers and sympathies to everyone! Ulysse and Gerry Richard - Posted by: Ulysse and Gerry Richard (friends) on: Aug 30, 2019
