My family only knew George for a short period of time. We moved my Umpa (grandfather) into Sturgeon 2 earlier this summer, George was a strong asset in my grandfather's transition to his new home. They were table mates and George was the first to show him around and introduce him to fellow residents. We spent a few meals together, lots of stories and many laughs. He mentioned that he loved Yorkshire puddings and I gladly brought him one every Sunday after dinner when bringing my grandfather home. He was sharp as a tack, witty, funny and kind. He will be greatly missed, by all. Sending love, light and positivity to his family and close friends during this difficult time. Rest easy George.
